Start with the details that matter to you.

You do not need to track everything at once. Start with meals, weight and any care routine you already follow, then add other records as needed. If you have several pets, check which pet is selected before each entry.

  1. Choose the pet and record type.
  2. Enter when it happened and the information you know. Add notes or attachments when useful.
  3. Review and save the entry, then find it in that pet’s records later.

Water and meals: give the numbers context.

Make clear what a quantity represents: water added to a bowl, observed drinking or food served. If several pets share a bowl, the total change is not necessarily one pet’s intake.

Use notes to explain uncertainty. A useful record preserves what you know; it does not need a guessed number to look complete.

Weight: keep the measurement and its context.

Choose a weight record and enter the time, value and unit. Use a consistent weighing method where possible, and note a different scale or changed conditions so you can interpret the history later.

Records help organize observations. A single value or trend does not replace a veterinarian’s assessment.

Separate planned care from care already given.

Use care plans for upcoming tasks and records for what actually happened. After following your veterinarian’s instructions, record the relevant time and details.

A reminder does not mean a task is complete. Do not use a record-keeping tool alone to change a medication, dose or treatment plan.

Make room for your own routine.

Create custom fields, choices and units when existing record types do not fit. A repeatable format can make regular entries more consistent than starting a new free-form note each time.

For a convenient shortcut to a frequently used record, you can also set up an NFC tag.

Keep a copy you control.

Export and safely store a complete backup before important library operations. Backups contain private information and should not be uploaded to public forums or used as product demonstrations.

Use the app’s export tools to organize information for a veterinary visit. Exported records remain user-entered observations, not automatically generated diagnoses.
